Portwrinkle B&B Accommodation
"The Bungalow" B&B, Portwrinkle is full of character and history.
It started life as a troop hut in World War 1, and has since
undergone a wide range of improvements and refurbishment. This
has included the addition of a guest verandah / lounge which
enjoys uninterrupted panoramic views over the coastline.
"The Bungalow" received a commendation from the Cornish
Buildings Group Award Scheme in 1991 and is cited as an example of good design
by the local district council.
The guest accommodation comprises two bedrooms, one double and one
twin, each with a washbasin. The bedrooms share a shower room. Both rooms
are available for single occupancy if required and there is
no single supplement.
The tariff is just £25 per person per night which includes
a full English Breakfast. There is no minimum stay.
Directions
"The Bungalow" is situated on the B3247 coast road between
Crafthole and Downderry. From the A38 take the A374 and go through
Polbathic. After approximately 2 miles turn right signposted
Crafthole. In Crafthole turn right towards Downderry. "The Bungalow"
will be found on the left hand side of the road.
